How Much RAM Do You Need For School?

How much RAM you need for school will depend on what you plan to do with your Razer laptop. However, 8GB of RAM would be ok for most tasks. 4GB of RAM may even be ok if all you want to do is things like browsing, writing and so on. But do not expect to do nearly as much as if you had 8GB of RAM in your brand-new laptop.

The good thing is that all the newly released Razer laptops have at least 16 GB of DDR5 RAM. Which is enough memory for most programmes and apps you might use for school. And 16 GB of RAM is known as the sweet spot for gaming. So if you plan to use your Razer laptop for other things than school work like gaming or photo and video editing, you can.

Note: My gaming laptop has 16GB of RAM. I do not have any problems playing games like Call of Duty Warzone and GTA 5. I can also edit videos without ever experiencing issues.

There is no doubt Razer is a good brand. Not just for gamers but for content creators and students, with a host of superb gaming products, including mice, headsets, keyboards, and many more. Including some of the best Razer laptops for video editing or gaming.

But which Razer laptop can help you excel in school or college? The Razer Blade 17 is a powerful laptop but too bulky and heavy to carry around. While the Blade 15 would be the best choice for students who play games in their spare time. However, the Razer Blade 14, is the lightest and smallest of the three and in my opinion, the best Razer laptop for school.
