Tip #1: Take Screenshots Using Print Screen Button

There are several different ways to capture a screenshot on a Windows laptop, and not just on Razer laptops. On the Razer keyboard including the base model and the Razer Blade Stealth the print screen button is located top right. On the newer models the PrtSc key is the secondary key to F12.

However, there are slight differences between when using the PrtScn key method on Windows 10 & 11. Don’t worry, because I have the HP Omen with NVidia GeForce RTX 2060 and Windows 10 OS. And the new RTX 3070 Ti Razer Blade 15 which features Windows 11. So, I’ve covered both options here.

Print Screen Method Windows 10

Save Screenshot to clipboard – To take a screenshot on a Razer laptop with the Windows 10 operating system. Press the FN + Print Screen button. This will take a screenshot of your current screen/s and then you can then paste the screenshot into an app of your choice.

Save Screenshot to folder – Press the Windows Key + PrtScrn buttons to take a screenshot of your current screen and save it then saves the screenshot to the screenshot folder.

Print Screen Method Windows 11

Save Screenshot to clipboard – To take a screenshot on a Razer laptop with the Windows 11 operating system. First, press the FN key + Print Screen Key. This will take a screenshot of your current screen/s and then you can then paste the screenshot into an app of your choice.

Save Screenshot to folder – Press the FN Key + Windows Key + PrtScrn buttons to take a screenshot of your current screen or screens and then saves it to the screenshots folder.

If you want to instantly use the screenshot, open up your graphics editor of choice. Such as Windows Paint or Adobe Photoshop. Then press Ctrl + V to paste the screenshot into the programme. You can then add annotations, resize or crop the screenshot, and save your screenshot as a JPEG or PNG.
